What’s New for the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross
The Toyota Corolla Cross is a practical and stylish choice of an SUV. With your choice of a gas or hybrid powertrain, this model offers efficient performance everywhere you go. The 2025 model adds some new features to enhance an active lifestyle.
New Design Features
One of the big changes for the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross is the addition of Soul Red Crystal. This model is available on the LE and XLE trim as well as the SE and XSE for the hybrid version. This color is exclusive to the Corolla Cross, which means you can’t get it on any other model. For certain models, the bold color is paired with a Jet Black roof.
Another style change for the 2025 model year is the addition of matte black mirror caps and antenna, which is included on the L and S grades. Other models feature gloss black. Toyota moved the AWD badge to the rear with the HEV badge on the rear liftgate.
Inside the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross is seating for five with folding rear seats and standard rear vents. All models include an eight-inch touchscreen for the Toyota Audio Multimedia system. You can add a power moonroof and dual-zone automatic climate control to enhance the comfort level of this model.
Enhanced Versatility
The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross is a versatile and practical vehicle with features you use in your everyday travels. For instance, the XLE and XSE models include a center armrest with two extra cupholders to provide for your passengers’ convenience. The optional power liftgate makes loading up a breeze and allows you to adjust the height, so you don’t hit your head every time you open the rear cargo area.
You can add accessories to make traveling easier. Install a roof rack with crossbars to give you more space for cargo without cramping your passengers’ room. An activity mount allows you to bring along a bicycle or other outdoor toys while a tow hitch makes it easier to bring along a trailer or small camper.
Powering Your Ride
Don’t be afraid to take the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross on any journey with standard electronic on-demand AWD. You get the power you need from the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with a VVT-I and three electric motors for the hybrid model. The Lithium-ion battery is located under the rear seats, so it takes up less space. The sport-tuned double-wishbone multi-link rear suspension provides a smooth ride with agility and stability on the road.
Gas-powered trims feature the Dynamic Force four-cylinder 2.0L engine paired with the CVTi-S. The result is a peppy 169 horsepower and a more engaging experience. AWD systems include Dynamic Torque Control, which provides half the power to the rear wheels when needed and disengages this system when it’s not necessary.
